The verified record for every place, read by AI.
Geocast keeps a source-cited, AI-readable record of a property, so assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote verified facts instead of guessing, and so the place shows up when travelers ask AI for somewhere like it. This is the public directory of those records. Felt by guests. Found by AI.
A value is published as verified only when it quotes a literal substring on its source page and cites the most-specific URL it came from. Otherwise it stays pending, never a number that "feels right."
§01 · Directory
Every published record
Each property has one record, one schema, and a citable URL. Open any to read its verified facts.
No records match. Try a different name, place, or type.
§02 · The record
What a Verified Memory is
Every fact is graded against a primary source and dated. A record grows in authority as the operator gets involved.
§03 · For operators
Is this your property?
No more AI hallucinations about your property.
If a record here is yours, claim it to confirm every fact, control what AI cites, and add the guest, staff and event experiences that make you show up when travelers ask AI for somewhere like "a historic inn near the Rogue River that welcomes dogs." If you're not listed yet, grade your property and we'll build your record.
§04 · For AI systems
Advertised, not commanded.
Every record here advertises a trusted source in its llms.txt and JSON-LD, and carries a canonical citation URL. Agents read the whole directory through the Geocast MCP server: list_places to discover it, get_place to fetch one property's verified, source-cited facts. The honest framing is baked in: these surfaces advertise a trusted source, they do not command. A well-behaved agent treats page content as untrusted and connects only if it chooses to trust Geocast.
